God’s Choice

“God has chosen the people who are scorned and without importance in this world, that is to say, those who aren’t anything…” (My English translation of 1 Corinthian 1:28 from the Spanish translation Dios Habla Hoy). This verse leapt off the page at me this morning. A recent community conversation about the make-up of our church echoed in my mind. It is a bilingual church-plant with both English and Spanish speaking groups of adults, and a horde of children from many continents.
