Troy Jackson is senior pastor of University Christian Church in Cincinnati, a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, and earned his PhD in United States history from the University of Kentucky. He is author of Becoming King: Martin Luther King Jr. and the Making of a National Leader (Civil Rights and the Struggle for Black Equality in the Twentieth Century). What a sad story…that someone who could contribute so much towards our country could be rejected like that just because he was undocumented. My thoughts and prayers to him and all those who share a similiar story.
May the light of Christ start to shine more brightly and dispel the prejudices, stereotypes that people have towards those who are different. May we start to learn how to live by the Grace that God blesses us with.
